Drum air separator is composed of circulation fan, separation drum unit, conveyor, diffusion chamber, dust collector, etc. Based on the principle of aerodynamics, this equipment uses controllable airflow as the sorting medium. Under the action of the controllable airflow, the selected materials are selected according to density and particle size. The airflow can separate lighter materials (such as paper, etc.) Feathers, plastic bags, dead leaves, etc.) are carried upward or horizontally to farther places, while heavy materials fall because the updraft cannot support them, or are thrown horizontally closer due to inertia. Therefore, the wind sorting process is based on the settling rules of various solid wastes in the air, thereby achieving the purpose of classification, recycling and reuse.
The main structural components of the air separator include: feed conveyor, rotating drum, blower, heavy material conveyor belt, fan separator, settling chamber, light material conveyor belt and dust filter.
① Mainly composed of material conveying system and blowing system. The device has simple structure, good operating effect and easy maintenance.
② The angle of the feeding conveyor and the angle of the air blowing nozzle can be adjusted from 0 to 90°. The feeding angle and the angle of the blowing nozzle can be flexibly adjusted according to the material composition to achieve the expected air selection effect.
③ The inlet and outlet of the separation chamber and the distance from the drum to the discharge channel are adjustable, and the distance from the separator to the rotating drum can be flexibly adjusted to achieve the air separation effect.
④ Based on the principle of aerodynamics, light and heavy materials are sorted and separated. The heavier parts will be transported to the storage bin or discharge belt through the dump channel before passing through the drum. The light materials are blown through the separation drum and then sucked in and discharged to the settling chamber.
⑤ The fan separator is equipped with an air control valve and a pressure control valve, which can adjust the air volume to the nozzle and dust filter as needed, and the adjustment is flexible and convenient.
⑥ Light substances and air are separated in the expansion chamber. The expansion chamber is a negative pressure suction environment, and the separation effect of light substances and air is better.
